My instructor was Alan, who was very knowledgeable on boating safety. He kept the class engaged and answered all questions. I will definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to take a boating safety course. Also the class room was clean and easily accessible.

Alan is a wonderful instructor. He made his class fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. His knowledge is exceptional. My wife and I truly enjoyed his class and wouldn't hesitate other classes. The facility is nice, clean, and cozy as well! Thanks Alan!

The class was very informative and well structured to get a better understanding on the new safety rules. The instructor kept the group engaged and had excellent knowledge in boating to share. Appreciate courses like this and how you can ask information from a well experienced individual.

Great class, engaging and really helpful.

Prior to the class, I knew boats went on the water. I learned so much from the class and have a better understanding of how to operate a vessel to keep me and others safe. The instructor was super engaging and you can tell he enjoyed the subject. Highly recommended!

By all means I would give this course five stars I took it just for the certificate but I received so much more I myself at one time was a merchant Seaman I also at one time owned the 4901 by Henry R Hinckley that's a 50 ft catch rig sailing vessel. Mr Alan Altermam made everyone understand that when you are on water you are 10 times more exposed to very serious injuries and that everyone must act accordingly. This course should be taken by anyone who intends to be on the water even as a passenger because it's everyone's duty to understand what they are expected to do.

Alan did a great job with this class. Very informative and many practical take aways. I am new to boating but after this class I am excited to get on the water and feel much safer and more comfortable after taking this class. I realize there is a lot of competition for these safety classes but you won’t go wrong taking this one.

Class was excellent. Alan Alterman did a terrific job In teaching the class & had a range of students from beginner to experienced boaters . He covered all the materials In a clear matter and kept everyone’s interest throughout the day. Alan is very experienced and helpful & I believe everyone, including those that are experience, walked away learning something. Under Briana‘s law, everyone is required to take a safe boating class.It’s a worthwhile class for everyone to take including experienced, to not only brush up, but learn new material to ensure that we all stay safe out on the water.

After having taken my previous Boating Certification over 15 years ago, and having logged many hours of safe boating experience, I found this course a very helpful refresh. Alan is very knowledgeable, thorough and engaging in his presentation. Thank you for a worthwhile day of learning and new confidence on how to continue with a fun and safe boating experience.

If not for yourself, take the course for your loved ones and the people you’re responsible for while boating. I strongly recommend to get your kids involved in the course as well.

Alan is more than just a teacher, he is an expert with impressive credentials, and keeps the class moving at an appropriate pace. I’m not an experienced boater, and feel that taking his class had way more value than taking a marginally lower priced internet course.

I wanted to take a class with my 15yo kid. We found this course online (via ChatGPT) and I called to find out some details. Alan was very informative, helped me make the best decision and walked me through the process. The class itself was scheduled a week after. We showed up a a local library, with a group of other students (ages 10 through 70) and started on time. The class was well structured, Alan, who happens to be an Aux Coast Guard commender shared amazing insights and experience. He made the instruction fun and engaging. I learned a lot, and so did my son. Both of us passed the test on the first try. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a focused and engaging learning experience.
